First found the Colony Palms last year on Jetsetter, and had an incredible stay in a casita. It was Palm Springs' restaurant week so we dined at Purple Palms nearly every night of our stay. But it was also incredibly hot in mid-June and quite a few of the local shops and restaurants had closed for the season. This year... More

We normally stay at The Parker, and our first night in town we did. However, we felt like the Parker was really slipping in all areas so we went out exploring for other hotels in the valley. My wife and I really are big hotel snobs, so our standards are high. We looked at a bunch of hotels in the... More

My boyfriend and I really wanted to love this place but, similar to being on an extremely bad first date, decided to head-for-the-hills after an awful first impression. Which is not a great tribute when one is paying a small fortune for a hotel room, even if it is a very chic one. Yes, the grounds are gorgeous and the... More

We loved our 3 nights at the Colony Palms! The grounds are so lovely and clean and are so well-maintained by the incredibly friendly staff. The pool rivals larger hotel pools, in a gorgeous setting of cabanas, the restaurant/bar and beautiful plantings. Plus the pool and hot tub are 24 hrs, so we woke up our first night at 2pm... More

We stayed at the Colony Palms for two weeks this January, using Groupons. They upgraded us to a suite overlooking Indian Canyon Drive. Other reviewers have complained about the noise in this room. No doubt about it -- it's noisy during "rush" hours, but otherwise not too bad. We were seldom in the room, so it didn't really bother us.... More

This hotel has been apart of my wife's and my relationship since it opened. I just spent the most relaxing 3 days at the Colony Palms with my wife and 1 and a half year old daughter. Upon arrival, they gave us a room to relax in while we waited for our beautiful Casita to be ready, as we were... More

We really loved the Colony Palms. The grounds are immaculately maintained and you feel like you are far away. The vibe is great -- and the stay is very good (there when you need them, but not overbearing). Loved the location -- right in the design district and walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Loved our casita and the... More

This place is wonderful. The rooms are nice, the pool is great and the ambiance is awesome. We loved our stay and will be coming back for sure. The bar at this place is ridiculously expensive. Like unreasonable. A stoli-tonic and a 12oz beer cost $24. The food is also expensive but worth it for the most part. It's really... More

I can recommend the Colony Palms for those travellers who want a relaxing getaway in the desert. The resort is a 5-minute drive from the airport, and very close to the restaurants and shopping of Palm Canyon Drive (the museum is a 10-minute walk away). The property itself is very well cared for and maintained. The main rooms are located... More
