We stayed here while doing a tour trip of Yosemite. It takes almost two hours to drive into the heart of the park attractions from here but is more affordable than staying in the park itself. Room had a mildew smell but we spent the nite only to find the air conditioner leaked water onto the rug. Called maintenance and they made it worse. Water was flushing onto the carpet. Changed rooms of course. Breakfast is for vegans. no meat served. hope you like hard boiled eggs. not even apple juice. would expect a better breakfast... More

Recently I stayed at the Shilo Inn for a couple nights. What a bargain. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good variety offered for breakfast. I enjoyed the additional sink located by the microwave and frig. All very convenient. Clean room, clean towels, beautiful view. I never heard those in neighboring rooms. I truly can't find anything bad to say. More

We always stay here when we're headed into Yosemite or if we don't feel like camping at Bass Lake! The king room is giant, with a mini fridge, sink, and couch... it's a great value. More

This is a good hotel, with some minor issues, but I had a chance to talk to the new owners who just took over a month ago and they were already making some changes and mentioned other changes that were in the works but not complete yet that would be great.
