Gill R, You're absolutely right.... we need to do a better job providing info on area restauants AND we will do better. Just this week I completed another section to add to our new Guest Directory, a Restaurant Guide. I'll print it out and make it available at the front desk. I'm also collecting Sample Menus so that guests can... More

My father and I were one of the displaced families, one of a few that lost absolutely everything on February 27th of this year. We lived in the Dana Garden Apartments, my Dad for 40 years and myself for the last 10 years as his caregiver. The American Red Cross were amazing and in their support and care put us... More

Thank you so much for your kind comments..... I am extremely proud to be part of the TEAM and couldn't ask for more from Wendy and the others when it comes to their "Spirit of Hospitality". I hope that you will consider us your Hospitality Host when visiting the Silicon Valley. Thanks again, Scott Seymore General Manager More

To be honest, i was afraid to book it because in my mind you pay what you get basically. Few of our friends stayed there before and it seem alright. Besides we were on a trip with friends which means we won't spend time at the hotel at all. All we need is a king size bed and a bathroom.... More

For $65 you get a big room with TV, minifridge, microwave, and a jacuzzi tub. Breakfast is included, too. Prices are higher on the weekdays, but if you check in on a weekend they can give you a flat rate for your entire stay.

My stay at El camino Inn Mountain View was very nice and relaxing, much better than other times. The maid by the name of Sylvia was very hospitable, kind and served my family and me very well. We thought we were being over bearing but she ensured us it was a pleasure for her to be of service. I commend... More

Jeremy, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're certainly proud to have Sylvia as a teammate, she makes us ALL better. I'll be sure to pass your comments along and she'll get special recognition at our upcoming "Associate Lunch". Looking forward to being your "Hospitality Host" when visiting the Silicon Valley. If you need a place to get a good night's sleep and hot shower, this property delivers at a great price. If you want a pleasant room in which to relax and maybe get some work done, you might want to look elsewhere. Our room was clean but old, with scuffed and worn furnishings and fixtures. We had to unplug... More

Dear KerrySK, I appreciate your candid comments.... Since taking over the Hotel back in September we've come a long ways and realize we still have a ways to go. I took a little extra time before responding as I wanted to be absolutely sure where we stood in relationship to resolution. We agree with you 100% regarding in-room coffee and... More

The hotel is nice and practical if you’re a family: there’s fridge and a kitchenette in the ensuite rooms so that you fix a snack anytime. The decoration is simple but not unpleasant – no frills, none of your fussy bright gilded appliances and ornate bed spread: at least it’s not tasteless -- and the California sunshine is magic and... I was impressed by the lush landscaping and the charming pots of red flowers hanging from posts. The property is older, but management is trying to improve it. The conference/meeting room had old televisions stacked in it, and new carpet was being installed in some rooms during my visit. Fortunately, I heard no noise from the renovations. I stayed in... Don't be silly and expect a five-star hotel. Considering the price, the room is clean and the personal jacuzzi is a bounce. The location is convenient enough. One bus to Stanford and walking distance (10-15 mins) to San Antonio Shopping Mall. Breakfast is pretty sad, but I was happy to get my daily fix of coffee. The internet wireless is... More

In booking a hotel in the Silicon Valley, we were surprised by the prices. The Camino Inn was about $20/night less expensive than the next best hotel. With that in mind, we put up with the worn and tired rooms, but at least they were clean. The battle for hot water in the morning was another draw back. The breakfast... More

Thank you for the opportunity to post an update. Since your last visit we have installed two (2) new water heaters and repaired a third. Our Deluxe Continental Breakfast has also been upgraded by adding Fresh Fruit, Oatmeal, Fresh Donuts, Bagels & Cream Cheese and a morning Host. I personally handle the Host duties on most mornings.
