Cant believe it is n# 8 on this list!!!! It is a shabby hotel from the entrance to the room! Not properly cleaned, common areas appear not to be maintained st all! Noisy: a generator is powered on every 5 minutes, you can hear every step from the floor above. The noise from the tap is a joke!!!

Stayed here for four nights during a conference, and was very happy. The room was large and well appointed. It was in a great location, far enough away from the main roads to be quite, but right on the bike/walking path so you can get to all the action in minutes. Good restaurants are just steps away.

This hotel is very well located! Walking a few blocks you'll reach some nice restaurants at Cannery Row St and The Monterey Bay Aquarium.
We found some inesperate flights of stairs to reach our 3rd floor room, and it was pretty difficult to carry on our luggage! However, the room itself was nice and clean, and so was the bathroom....

Priced right Off the beaten path (only by a block) and adjacent to bike/walk trail. Rent/bring your bike and go north or south on a whim After you eat some free breakfast of course!!!
