I never thought that Merced will have such a nice Hotel. I was visiting from the Bay area and found the Courtyard Marriott with New Bistro open which offer dinner at night and starbuck coffee I really enjoy the Bar and health dinner at the Bistro. I love new Bistro. Johny

This is a newer Courtyard with updated rooms and a Bistro in place of the old breakfast buffet. But, as many others have noted, the location is terrible and it seems no room in the entire hotel is protected from the noisy highway just outside the door. If a quiet night's rest is what you need, look elsewhere.

Arrived in Merced around 1900 after a few days in Yosemite looking for stopover on journey west. Called in on spec and was greeted with friendly and accommodating receptionist. Reasonable price for single night. Delighted to have easy laundry facility too. Large clean comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
