We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Mariposa for 2 nights in May 2013, before and after our visit to Yosemite. We found it to be clean and comfortable. The beds, each of which had 4 pillows, were comfortable and had nice and the bathroom amentieis were fine. The towels were fine and the shower worked well, even if the... More

First of all this review is for a small room in one of the little houses on the back... I did not see the rooms in the tall buildings. The room was really small, very old furniture & the entrance of the house smells like old - but not the room. But it was super clean, and one of the... More

We used 3 rooms here and all were like new as just refurbished throughout. Lovely size and very comfortable large beds. Views to Yosemite were pleasant and there is a sun terrace for breakfast which was very pleasant. Breakfast was a maze of goodies and included eggs and sausage, cereals, porridge and a range of tasty breads and accompaniments. The... More

Service was fine, but the beds were very hard. The breakfast had the worst scrambled eggs I have ever tasted. There were waffles and a few other cold options. The rooms are fairly small but the worst part was that when any shower or toilet that was upstairs was turned on or flushed, You would here it very loudly. Almost... More

Friendly staff and helpful on info. We stayed one night so we coud tour Yosemite. The town seemed to shut down early as it is still considered Winter here the second week of March. Looking for local entertainment in the middle of the week in Mariposa is not fruitful. The hotel is convient to the entrance to Yosemite, about thirty... More

We stayed for only one night for a little valentines get away and found the hotel nice. It's a little bit above a basic hotel, room was clean. It's a block off high 49 and that is nice as it's quite, plus it's an easy walk to the main downtown for eats or coffee. There is a liquor store whiten... More

We stayed two nights to visit Yosemite Park. Mariposa in the winter is a quiet place, nothing much to do. The distance to the Park was okay, it took us about not quite an hour to get there. The hotel is clean and nice. We had a double queen room. For 2 large suitcases we had just about enough space.... More

We found this place extremely good accommodation & close to Yosemite. We had enjoyed a good drive down from Vacaville by quiet roads & really enjoyed our trip through old mining towns ....arriving in Mariposa we found yet another historically interesting town with many attractive businesses....the staff at the hotel were wonderful, happy & helpful. Our room was perfect with... More

Stayed there in late May 2011. Good place to stop on the way from Sequoia National Park to Yosemite. Still about 45 miles to the Park, but much better than driving in from one of the larger cities for a couple hours or more. Hotel has multiple buildings, ours was a family suite with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths which was... More

My wife and I wanted to go visit Yosemite National Park in the snow, so we decided to head up there on a Friday night and stay in Mariposa to be closer to the park in the morning. The room was clean and looks to have had a cosmetic renovation in the not too distant past. However, somethings certainly were... More
