We stayed at this hotel for 5 days while in L.A. The hotel was clean, conveniently located, the breakfast was good and best of all the rooms are fairly large. Very friendly and helpful stuff. Nice location - loved bohemian Venice (Abbot Kinney st. and channels) and Santa Monica. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Quite good breakfast (waffles!). Very good free parking. When came back for the second time, we were upgraded to the suite for free, it was really nice.

The room we were given had a strong smell of stale smoke (214). No apology. It took an hour to give us another room. This was fine. But note the hotel has no views and the rooms are a little dark inside. WiFi works but was flaky. We cancelled our second night and left next morning.

Very good choice for location. Good value for money, free parking, good breakfast, helpful staff, clean but average rooms. Noisy air-condition, and hard to find a comfortable temperature as it was either too dry or too hot. The layout of the establishment resembles more a motel rather than a hotel.
