nice neighborhood: safe, close to the beach, with nice restaurants in walking distance. (There is a nice bakery "We bake, you eat!" and a beach cafe ("sloopy") with the best sandwiches nice seaview, but do not expect a beach view as other building are between the Sea View Inn and the beach.

We just loved it! We booked into a luxury suite with ocean views and a fireplace. It also had a wet bar with a sink, fridge and microwave which was very convenient. This was my 3rd time staying at the Sea View in and I will be back. Great location with short walk to the beach, great coffee shops and restaurants close by. Loved our free bikes and beach chairs, staff is very helpful and friendly. A great place, can definatley recommend it.

I loved Manhattan Beach and this hotel was very convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It's only 20 minutes to LAX. My room was perfect for one person. They do have other spacious rooms for couples and families. I will stay there again!
