I will agree with other reviewers - $47 a night without hook-ups is expensive, however, the proximity to the beach is worth it! Sites are large, shaded and close to running water. They all have picnic tables and a fire ring.

Large sites, picknick table, firepit, clean restrooms, close to the beach but waaaaaaay to expensive.
Expect a National Park type campsite, only four (!!) times the bucks!
We paid 48$ for one night.

This is a great camping spot for tent camping, but because it is an "older" campsite, it is not suitable for larger trailers or RVs. Their was no room to easily back into our campsite which I had reserved over the internet. We did not think we could make it, but after several attempts, we did get the 30' trailer...

Our site was large with good shade from trees. The walk to the beach is only about 1 mile, a little farther to the dog-friendly beach. Picnic table & firepit provided. Friendly employees. No highway noise (rare for So-Cal beach camping). Starbucks is 4 miles away.
