The room is clean. There are lots of restaurant options in the area. The breakfast is donuts and coffee. The fridge in the room hasn't worked in liked a decade ( might be an exaggeration). Wi Fi is included but the signal is low. Room smells stale but we sprayed room fresher all around and opened the window for a... More

We stayed at the Vagabond Inn San Pedro in December 2011 prior to our Disney cruise. We chose based on price, location and free shuttle. Our room was rather small and faced the back of the complex overlooking private residences. It was a quiet room except for when people walked past, you could hear their footsteps and talking. The heater... More

Very outdated rooms with writing on the walls. Room had very bad odor! Very loud all night long and then 6 am neighbors alarm goes on and they wont turn it off. Breakfast was a joke! Stay at next door at San Pedro Inn and Suites.

I booked two rooms for overnight prior to a cruise. My wife and I, from San Diego, stayed in one; my cousin and his wife from Denver stayed in the other. We wanted to stay overnight in San Pedro so, if something went wrong with anybody's transportation, we had time to recover. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The... More

Yes- as some people have said this is an older hotel so a bit outdated. BUT it has the important things for me especially for before a cruise. Number 1 is clean- check! Number 2 - handy to destination. Not only is it handy there is a free shuttle Number 3- PRICE- How can you beat 67$ a night for... More

A great value, very clean and the staff was the best. We left our car at the hotel for free for the week while on our cruise.

My friend got his car stolen from the Vagabond Inn's own parking lot in daylight! The staff doesn't pay any attention to the security cameras and they don't have a security guard. This neighborhood is unsafe. The staff or manager didn't show one bit of sympathy towards the loss. All they care about is your money.

We've stayed here twice so far when coming in early to board a cruise at the nearby World Cruise Center. The rooms aren't 'top hat' but they are clean and the folks running this place are world class! They are so accomodating, nice and bend over backwards to make your stay with them as nice as possible with transportation to... More

Stayed here over night (December 2011) before boarding Princess cruise ship. Room was clean...no frills. I booked online and paid around $70. Many fast food restaurants within walking distance. Free coffee and rolls in the am. Free shuttle to the pier. Ask for a room in the back, as the front of the hotel is noisy with a lot of... More

We spent the night of 23 Sep 11 there in order to be fresh and clean volunteers to serve on the Lane Victory, the last remaining World War II victory ship in service. I served as a deck officer and Diane served as an AB (helm). At one in the morning the jackhammers started. At 4 am, when we arose,... More
