Dont use their Valet service..plenty of pay to park lots that charge 1/4 of what the hotel does and they are safe.
Good location in the heart of downtown, up the street from Staples Center and down the street from Walt Disney Concert Hall, which is amazing and the MOCA.

This is an older building in downtown Los Angeles, but has been remodeled. Within walking distance to most attractions & restaurants in downtown.

We had a weekend stay at the Hilton Checkers and I was really blown away by the level of service and friendliness of the staff. Besides being a great location we were treated incredibly well by everyone from the man at the door to the house keeping. They also have a beautiful pool and spa area on the roof.

It is unfortunate that it was not clearly communicated during your stay, but we actually have an overnight menu available. Granted it is somewhat limited, but definitely caters to those late night cravings.

I was attending a conference across the street at the Biltmore, but decided to stay at the Hilton instead. It's walking distance to LA Live and is and easy cab ride to Hollywood. The gym there is small, but it has a great view of the city.

Stayed at Hilton Checkers due to my daughter's cheer competition being held downtown. The hotel was nice enough, rooms are pretty small but nice. Valet was easy enough if I called down 15mins before departure. Now the pool, the kids loved this part and the view was amazing at night. My room had a view of a brick wall
