Absolutely in love with the Inn. The entire staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. The decor is charming, a different homemade cake every morning for breakfast, best coffee ever, wine and cheese in the evening! Short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants on the way. Definitely better than a large, crowded, noisy 5-star hotel. Looking forward to a... More

Wonderful hotel very close to airport (but no noise), looking over delightlful wilderness with birds and squirrals plus other animals and distant view of Marina Del Rey. Local restaurants within walking distance but many more within a short drive (Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, etc). Nice to see genuinely free internet plus a home cooked breakfast and service was impeccable... More

The location of the Inn is great. Walking distance to the beach, close to LAX and the Marina, a few decent restaurants bars down the street. In addition, staff are friendly and accommodating. That being said, over my several stays here the following issues are evident: -Property needs updating. As others have indicated, many of the windows are cloudy, doors/locks... More

The Inn At Playa Del Rey hosted my wife and I for five nights in April. In total we were in CA and AZ for three weeks, staying at several upscale boutique properties. It is listed as a "Top Choice" in Lonely Planet's guidebook to LA, San Diego and Southern CA. It is conveniently located near Marina del Rey's dining... More

We very much appreciate positive comments that help send us new guests and make us proud of doing a job and we pay attention to advice on how we could do even better. As to the “issues” mentioned in these two posts, we agree. The Inn was in need of a face-lift; Botox would not have been sufficient. This April,... More

If you want a 'chain hotel' (hotel porter; gym, pool etc), this is certainly not the place for you. However if you are looking for a friendly run, in a great location (15 minutes from the airport; 5 minutes from the beach) with great personal touches, then book this place! When we arrived, not only was the greeting friendly but... More

This is a very nice place when you visit Los Angeles. Safety and very friendly. W've been there many times and every visit is a good experience. Near the beach and beautiful rooms. You can take a bike of the Inn, it's great to bike near the beach or to Venice Beach. Very friendly people and all selfmade breakfast. In... More

Stayed here for the second time and as before it's fabulous. Great for checking in to after a long flight (so close to LAX) and perfect for a little down time away from everybody. Local amenities are simple but ideal and the local Italian Cantalini's is very tasty! The rooms are cosy, the location quiet and secluded and the staff... More

When I researched staying here I came to the conclusion that it was the perfect place to spend the last night of our holiday in America. We needed one nights accomodation including breakfast and a later than normal checkout at 8pm. After contacting this Inn I was told that I would have to pay for two nights. Ok, fair enough.... More

It is almost surreal how quaint and quiet this property is considering it's about a 5 minute drive from LAX. The rooms are adorable, the food tasty, the service good. The only constructive feedback I have to offer is that it's not clear where to go to check in. I was dropped outside by a cab and wasn't sure where... More

I stayed here with my sisters and had a wonderful experience. The air is clean, the views of the wetlands was wonderful for bird watching, walking was a great way to get to the beach and finally the local restaurants are good enough. This Inn is worth every cent. Thanks!
