“Not a good place to stay - The Islander”

Whom ever rated the Islander Motel has to be kidding. This hotel is no where near the beach but right smack in the middle of a bad area of Wilmington California on Pacific Coast Highway. Do NOT Stay there even if it's your last option... you'd be safer if you spend the night in your car in the parking lot... More

I stayed and the Islander motel twice in 2003 and both visits were great. Its a great price and gets the job done. Its not a 4 star place but its not a 2 either. If your looking for somewhere great to stay and your on a budget and want to be on the beach then this is the place... More
