Bathroom floor was sticky, Bed was filled with cat hair, door was broken and room was extremely small and smelt like vomit. Do yourself a favor and pay extra to stay at the Sheraton. Although, it is a little more expensive to stay at the Sheraton Universal, it evens out by using the Sheratons's Shuttle Services and avoid Universal Studios... More

So disappointing, I left after 1 night even though I paid for 5. Tiny room, horrible bed, no bathtub and I had to stuff towels into the crack between the door and and the door jam to attempt to stop the cold December draft. Super 8 a few miles away was clean, served breakfast, the rooms were secure, clean and... More

I stayed at this Inn for 2 weeks with my 9yr old son and my mother. The staff are very friendly and very helpful, especially Anna. Since my son has food allergies we requested a refrigerator to be able to keep special items for him. They set one in the room at no extra cost! They also set a table... More

I stayed at this Inn for 5 days while attending a seminar at the Hilton Universal Studio. It was the best value for my money since I only slept and showered at this Inn. If you are looking for more amenities, be willing to pay more. The staff is friendly, especially the manager, Anna. My room was made up when... More

I would not stay there again. We only wanted a quick sleep while on our travels, so I booked this place knowing that it will be no-frills – but it was very dated and extremely basic, it felt rather boy-scoutish. The towels were the size of a post stamp, blankets on the beds looked like something from Alcatraz (I might... More

The El Patio Inn located in Studio City California is your generic basic motel. Its located about 10 mins driving time from the nearest train station with access to Hollywood and also is about a 10 min drive to Universal Studios where once you arrive there your required to pay to park but the motel says its close by. All... More

We booked our travel through Priceline, which is supposed to secure a room for 2 people for the price you pay. We get there and "Anna" told us that it was going to be another $210 for the second guest. Now we didn't request anything special or a special type of room. All we did was show up and tell... More

I actually really liked this place. My boyfriend and I stayed here a few months ago. This hotel is very small, with one little parking lot and all the rooms surround it. Check in was easy and the woman at the desk was nice. The rooms are very nice and different than a standard hotel room. They have a 50s... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. What a rip-off. I made a reservation for three night over the phone because the phone rate was $40 LESS than Expedia's. I secured the first night with my credit card as requested. When I arrived, they could not find the reservation. They gave me a room but charged me $12 more than the price I'd... More

The Gentelmen did not want to pay in advance & this property has only 16 rooms and during the busy season we do our best to accomodate everyone, however if a guest does not checkout as scheduled we can not evict them from the room! That is why reservations are avalable. More

Check in 06/07/2008 and checked out the same day. I was told my hummer was not park straight enough. When I went to move the truck the manager Anna locked me out of my room #14. I had to call lapd in order to get back in the room to get my belongings and the still charged me $96.90 for... More
