We just returned from our second stay at the Ritz-Carlton in LA Live. It was another wonderful stay, in large part due to the staff in the Club Lounge. Their attentiveness and helpfulness is amazing. Don't make eye contact unless you want them to ask if they can get you something! I won't reiterate my last review but again found... More

I had an excellent three night stay at the Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles. I arrived at 8AM having pre-requested an early check-in but without high hopes about it since the time of my arrival was 8 hours before the normal check-in time. Luckily, a room was available and ready. The hotel charged me only for an extra day's "wired for business"... More

This is a really beautiful hotel. Very nicely designed in a contemporary, expensive way. We stayed in suite which was huge and lovely. It's the nicest Ritz Carlton we have stayed at. The lobby and public spaces are a dissapointment though. This hotel is conveniently linked via a passageway to the Marriott but they also rely on that a lot-... More

Wolfgang Puck newest Oriental cuisine! It serves the best Peking Duck, even for Oriental guests!! Other dishes are beef cheeks, dim sum, siu mai. Desserts are out of this world! The restaurant opens only at dinner time, closely watched by Wolfgang's friendly younger brother, Klaus. Menu is offered in set of 3 or 4 courses. On the 24th floor, the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this ritz carlton. The rooms were so beautiful and elegant but still so cozy and warm. So spacious for a city hotel. The bathrooms were also huge with very modern touches. This hotel even had a doggy menu for their furry guests. The only negative about this hotel is the size of the lobby... More

Stayed here for business for 3 days in March. Service and accomodations were excellent. Just beware if there is a Lakers game at the Staples Center as it can be difficult to drive back to hotel when the game lets out and they close streets. You have to tell a traffic cop you are staying at the hotel so they... More

If staying downtown Los Angeles, I would highly recommend this elegant hotel. Next to the Staples Center and L.A. Live. Walking distance (during the day only, as the night streets are a little scary) to restaurants and Macy Plaza. Hotel nightly rate was LESS than the JW Marriott next door, so check rates with hotel at time of reservation. The... More

The property its plenty of luxury, and the personal it's very kindly. My room was spectacular in 22th floor whith beatiful LA views. The Restaurant from Wolgang Puck was delicious with excellent menu and views. All the staff is very attentive and take care of you in all time.

I've stayed at numerous Ritz-Carltons in the past (NYC, SF, Marina del Rey) and always considered them just a sliver downscale from Four Seasons. Based on this hotel, however, I would have to say that Ritz-Carlton has dropped, not one but several notches down that scale. I give it three stars because "poor" is an unfair rating. The hotel is...
