The hotel is perfectly located for a stopover between Death Valley and Yosemite Valley and also used by many hikers as a basis for climbing Mount Whitney. However, the rooms were not very clean (especially the carpeted floor was filthy). The breakfast was ok. Based on our experiences during our USA trip, the room rates are rather high.

Thank you for your recent stay at our hotel! I apologize for the carpet issue in your room! As the season progresses, Maintenance will increase their cleaning routine of the carpets. However, I am very sorry that you encountered anything but satisfaction! We hope you will consider returning to us again if you are in the area! More

We had driven a great deal when we finally called it a night in Lone Pine. We called in to two hotels; Comfort Inn then Best Western. We got a better deal from Comfort Inn so we paid for a double Queen room with a roll in bed. It was later in the evening and all we wanted to do... More

The Comfort Inn was minimal. It served a breakfast that included one of the waffle machines, hardboiled eggs, cereal and yogurt. The room was okay and beds were clean. Office staff was vary helpful and polite. The young lady knew the area well and was able to give helpful information. Because we were on a work related trip, we had several... More

We had a very good experience at the first Comfort Inn we stayed in, so thought we'd try another one. Obviously, the age of the property makes a difference. Ultimately, this was a decent, comfortable place to stay, but had signs of age (the sheer curtains in our room were torn). Service was friendly and efficient, the room was clean... More

This comfortable quiet hotel offered a very good breakfast, beautiful views and excellent customer service. Free wireless and very helpful staff. We had just come from Death Valley National Park where the temperatures were around 111 degrees. We were exhausted and worn out. We decided to stay two nights in this little town of Lone Pine and it was a... More

If you're looking for a stay in Lone Pine (great home base for Death Valley), choices are limited. This option is relatively clean and comfortable, and wasn't sketchy as some places inside the park are reputed as being.

Management was extremely friendly and helpful. The hide-away bed we requested was already in our room before we checked in. Although a little rustic, the rooms were quiet, very clean and had comfortable beds. Breakfast was all you could eat with a good variety. Great stop between Mammoth and LA with affordable rates.

First time I stayed at Comfort Inn, Lone Pine and was a bit disappointed. Comfort Inn is furthest south in Lone Pine, looks nice, but that's about all. Beds are very firm, pillows are square. The walls and ceiling are paper thin so you can easily hear all your neighbors. Breakfast provided, but thankfully McDonalds is down the road a mile.
