We did not find the HIE to be "worn out", and in fact thought it a nice place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, rooms (including bathroom and carpet) were spotless, comfortably furnished with excellent beds. It was quiet- our rooms were in the back. No complaints. More

Excellent value, providing large, clean rooms, with parking and wi-fi. Service is non existent and breakfast is very ordinary. However, given a dirth of good value places to stay in Lompoc, you can do a lot worse than Holiday Inn Express. More
