Just driving through on way to Kings Canyon , when on the right was this superb B and B behind a white wall looking like an escapee from the Caribean Islands. We stayed . best decision on a 2 week holiday in California .Sumptous accomodation. delightful breakfast . Wonderful hosts , who told of the experiences of life in the... More

We absolutely loved this place! Wow! Chef Marie's gourmet breakfasts were amazing.... The theme of Gone with the Wind was so fun. A great place to go for a romantic weekend! Both Scott and Marie Munger were our most gracious hosts.....We had attention when needed and privacy as well...What more can you ask? And oh, the nightly swim in the... More

We stayed 3 nights on the "stay 2 get 3rd free" offer. Unfortunately our larger room was not available for the 3rd night, so we were in a very small room with a small double bed - cosy!! The bathroom was across the corridor! The service was pleasant & helpful - the place was clean & there was a pool... More

This place was amazing from the room to the pool and lawns and the delicious meals by Chef Marie! After sight-seeing trips to Sequoia it was so wonderful to come back and get into the pool under the stars. The grounds were beautiful and it was so relaxing to just sit back and watch the birds. Breakfasts were delicious and... More

Front rooms are facing the road and are terribly noisy for sleeping. The hotel is full of vain old frills but not practical at all. The rooms are small, no table, no good chairs, no TV, no A/C, an inch gap under the doors and balcony doors. The house layout is crammed and the rooms have no sound isolation and... More

We spent 3 nights at the Plantation and had a great time. We stayed in the Rhett Butler room which was small but very private. We read some of the negative reviews and while some of the criticism is true (slanted floor, small space) we found it more than acceptable and comfortable. We found Scott and Marie very friendly and... More

Having viewed the photos and reviews on line before our trip, we arrived at Plantation B & B with high hopes and were not disappointed. We were greeted by Scott who gave us a tour, a brief history of the house and a run down of all the local restaurants with a map showing distance, menus and prices. Our room... More

We called late in the evening and Scott was very accomodating. We really enjoyed the pool and hotub - especially at night staring at the starry sky. The breakfast was wonderful. It took us just over an hour to get to General Sherman in Kings Canyon Park. Overall a great place to stay for trips to Sequoia Parks. More

My husband and I went on Memorial Day Weekend to go hiking in Kings Canyon. We had the "Mammy" Room. The room was decorated beautifully and had a fireplace and A/C. The landscaping there is just wonderful throughout. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a hot tub outside. The hosts, Scott and Marie made you feel very welcomed and... More

the room, with a well dressed bed, a deep tub and an awesome view of the mountains and sunrise exceeded our expectations. The price was right for us, and we brought 5 other family members along and they had a great stay also. Do not miss breakfast! spend an extra night so you can slow down to smell the orange blossoms... More
