We booked the Wisteria cabin for May 18th thru the 20th (Fri- Sunday) for a quick weekend getaway. We arrived late Friday night and there was a welcome note left for us explaining everything about the cabin and the area around us. I liked the personalized touch. The cabin was idyllic and I wish I had another couple days to... More

This is my second stay here, first time was for 4 days, this time for 8 days; peaceful, beautiful, convenient walking to town and the gorgeous La Jolla Coastal Walk. The cottages were clean and cute and cozy; the staff, very friendly, generous and helpful. Highly recommend! Next time I will stay for 2 weeks! More

The cottages are in a peaceful, beautiful garden setting. The value is pretty good. We stayed in Sea Bright, a one bedroom cottage which accommodated all three of us pretty well. Nice basket of goodies awaits you when you get there. The Cottage was clean and big enough so we didn't feel crowded. It also had a nice size kitchen... More

We spent two nights in a large 2 bedroom cottage, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottages are located very near the beach, and near the center of La Jolla, but not so close to either that there was any noise at night. Very happy with our stay, and would certainly recommend it to anyone, especially for a longer stay. More

My colleagues and I stayed at Redwood cottages in September 2011 while attending a conference in San Diego. The cottage was perfect for the three of us, including a pull-out bed in our one bedroom cottage. Our days were spent enjoying the beach and village. We especiallly enjoyed sitting outside drinking wine by the fireplace on the cool evenings. The... More

Cute cottages, many hidden from the street, with the charm of beach cottage life of years ago. We stayed in a large 2 bedroom and it was more than enough space for 3 friends traveling together. It was so, so clean welcoming. The manager showed us several of the studio/one bedrooms that were unoccupied and they were as charming as... More

Quaint, charming, restful, relaxing, quiet, historic, rustic, garden of Eden like place, hidden within the LaJolla community, near the Cove. Walking distance to everything. You can hear the sound of the ocean at night. We plan to go back as soon as we can get away! LOVE IT! More

We spent 4 days in La Jolla in early June, just loved the southern california ambience of La Jolla Village, and the fantastic setting at this unique gardened accomodation. We rented the Whispering Sands cottage and loved the quiet, serene setting, it is located one block back from lovely white sand beach (Whispering Sands beach) and a couple blocks away... More

We stayed 3 nights in the 2b/2b Ocean Ridge cottage and are still a little mystified by the glowingreviews on Tripadvisor. First off we like to stay at rustic and quirky places but for the price (just over $300 per night with taxes) this was more than anticipated. The inside definitely looks better than the outside and was surprisingly clean... More

We stayed with our two young kids over spring break. On the plus side: The location is great and we had a wonderful time seeing the sites of San Diego and going to the beach. Our cottage (La Jolla Haven) was spacious - plenty of room for 4 (could've easily held a couple more). The beds were clean and comfy.... More
