We stayed in one of the cottages right off the June Loop. We were close enough to hike and fish just by walking a short distance. They had facilities to clean our fish. We were able to cook it and perform basic kitchen duties in the comfort of our room. They warn you to bring your own paper towels, foil,... More

If you're looking to stay *close* to Yosemite's Tuolumne Meadows area but not in it, June Lake Pines Cottages is a great location. For the same price we'd have paid for a run of the mill motel room, we had a lovely little cabin all to ourselves. Very clean, modern and lots of space. Situated right in the middle of... More

The June Lake Pines Cottages are located right of the main highway in the small town of June Lake. Inside the cottages are wood-paneled, rustically decorated cabins that look like something out of Wisconsin circa 1960: wood paneling, '50s era sofa and lamp, thin blue fabric drapes, etc. It has a backwoods feel that I love and a very reasonable... June Lake Pines is not the Ritz, but in 1952, or 1964, or 1973, when you went on a family vacation with your actual family, you didn't stay at the Ritz. If you want a comfortable, and cozy space, the kind of place where your family has to spend time together and has to enjoy simple pleasure together, this is... More

The place is cute and right in the middle of town. The owners are nice. But the cottage we stayed in could use some repairs. Bathroom doorknob is broke so no lock and the door would not stay shut. The wall heater did not work right. Woke up early one morning and needed heat but it was not working. They... More

My husband and I have stayed here a number of times for the last seven years. It's a great place for vacationing at June Lake or as a "home base" for trips to Mono, Mammoth, and Yosemite. It's a family-run business and the couple who runs it is very nice and accommodating. It is a cottage---not an expensive hotel. don't... More

such a lovely place where to sleep, we just stopped there before heading to yosemite and we found out a cosy cottage with two bedroom, one bathroom, and one living room with a kitchenette! there's a general market right in front of the cottage so we just bought something to eat and we cooked at home. We did so many... More

The June Lake Pines is a rustic, old set of cabins right on the June Lake loop, and across the street from the General Store and a couple of restaurants/bars. The units are separate and are obviously old. The decor is from the 1960s or so. But, the cabins are clean and cozy. The kitchens are small and not very... More

This is the second time I stayed here. The location is tops and the unit was clean and roomy. This cabin was a good value. Decor looks like from the 70's, but had new carpet. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Not the Ritz, but works for me on this fishing trip. This is also a great central location... More

I have stayed at the June Lake Pines every Labor Day weekend (or close to) for many years. I found it clean and and a great value. Not everything is brand new, but size of rooms, layout and location work very well. We travel in groups of 7or 8, kids, teens and grandparents. I will be booking another trip this... More
