We have never camped "on the beach" b/4. This trip was amazing. Restrooms are very clean however, as one other reviewer commented, cannot understand the smoking in the restrooms...oh well. This campground was super - the location is amazing... The beach is very wide in this spot. And it is much less traveled than the big sister campground Bodega Dunes. The location is great - right on the beach, up against the cliffs, sheltered by a grove of trees - but the surf was unbelievably rough.
