Took my wife here for a birthday weekend trip to San Diego. After shopping several other locations in the area I landed on Jamul Haven. I am glad that I did! From the time you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The rooms and grounds actually match up with their website and were wonderful. Breakfasts here are great -... More

I had very high expectations for this place based on all the great reviews I read online and it did not let me down! The wonderful customer service starts when you pull in the drive and one of the owners greets you and takes you on a tour of the grounds. From there, you are left to take everything in... More

My wife and I spent two nights here and were very pleased with everything - the room, the breakfasts, the hors d'oeuvre/beer/wine, the hosts, the facilities.....on and on. We also like to bike and hike, and there was plenty of that around. We also enjoyed sunning by the pool and dipping in the hot tub. The pool, however, is not... More

This was by far the best place we have ever stayed !! Marianne,Bill, John & Glenda treated us as family and made our stay one we will never forget !!!! The food was incredible. The property is gorgeous and there was not one thing we could think of to change. All of the rooms are gorgeously decorated and have everything... More

Booked a two night stay in June 2008 (Peacock room) and had a very lovely time there. We were glad we paid the discounted rate of 199$ since we got there late the first day and spent the next day in San Diego. The regular prices are a little steep unless you plan on taking advantage of all of the... More

This is a luxurious, charming, comfortable getaway in a serene hillside setting....and these folks have earned every kind comment one can muster. WOW! Everything at this inn was perfect. No kidding! From the moment the dramatic gated entry swung open to this hilltop hideaway, to our quick return to pick up a journal we'd left (yes, they even called us... More

At the very last minute we found someone to watch our kids for a day and we were able to get away for our anniversary on a holiday weekend. We looked all across San Diego for options and finding a number of them took a chance on this B&B. I ordered a number of additional service packages on top of... More

My wife, Dea, and I travel to B&B's all over the country - often. We have our favorites. Jamul Haven is now at the top of that list - and it is a VERY long list. Every once in awhile, you find a gem. Folks - this is a special find of a gem. The victorian style 1890's home, with... More

We stayed at the Jamul Haven over a short weekend and were thrilled. We happened to be the only guests that weekend and had the full attention of the Innkeepers, Bill and Marianne. The property is absolutely beautiful - they are putting their heart and soul into it, and it shows. My favorite things about the Haven: - the Innkeepers,... More
