If this place stays the way it is, it will never get rated anything less than 5 stars. My husband and I just spent the last two days of our honeymoon at the Lion's Head and it was an amazing ending to our trip. We have both traveled extensively, but have never stayed at a place as luxurious and breathtaking... More

Our stay here was really wonderful. Robin and Tom went out of their way but made it seem as if they weren't going out of their way at all. The Parisian suite was beautiful and spacious with great natural light, stunning scenic view and tasteful furnishings. The bed was soft and the sheets and pillowcases smelled great! I know that... My husband & I stayed at this B&B for our honeymoon in September 2006. We stayed in the Parisian suite and it was absolutely lovely! The property grounds are well maintained and great to explore. Although an afternoon is more than enough for this. It is a convienient and relatively easy drive to all San Diego has to offer. We... More

We stayed here for the first couple days of our honeymoon in the luxurious Amethyst Suite. It had all the requirements of a romantic getaway: fireplace, private spacious balcony(with a beautiful view), large soft bed, jacuzzi tub, double head shower, and champagne chilling for us on arrival. The service was excellent, the breakfasts delicious and Robin and Tom did everything... More

When you go on the internet and book a 25th Anniversary, got-to-get-it-right trip, you always wonder if what you envision about the place will really pan out. Robin and Tom have absolutely got the bed and breakfast thing figured out. They don't dote but they truly provide the right touch. Pure class describes the room. Frankly, hard to put in... More

April 21 -22, 2006 Reviewer- The Palmer-Butlers This was our second visit to the Lion's Head Guest House Bed and Breakfast. We were lucky enough to have the Parisian room, which is fabulous. However, all the rooms in this beautiful house are excellent. The rooms are geared towards romance with very comfortable beds with superior linens and multitudes of designer... More

Lions Head is a beautiful spot. My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at Lions Head. The room was huge with a jacuzzi tub and very comfortable bed. The owners couldn't be more friendly...great breakfast. Would go back

My husband and I spent our one year anniversary at Lion's Head B & B and we had the most relaxing and enjoyable time. The rooms are fantastic and the views and serenity can't be beat. I suggest bringing a picnic dinner to have on the balcony of the Athens room, or on the roof top at sunset, they have... More

I scheduled this stay as a surprise for my husband's birthday and it was everything I imagined and more. You cannot imagine a more tranquil, romantic, and beautifully furnished place to getaway. The service and hospitality was the best. It was immaculately clean. The owners are so nice and down to earth and the breakfast was sooo tasty. The privacy... More

The term “Bed and Breakfast” does not begin to describe this wonderful villa hideaway! You owe it to yourself, and that special someone, to experience all that the Lion’s Head Guest House has to offer. The rooms were sensational, the views were spectacular, and the breakfast was truly first class. (The bacon was perfectly cooked, crisp and straight; and you... More
