Yes, the rooms are small but they're cosy and you'll be wanting to spend most of your time outside in any case. The motel has charm, especially in the main room which doubles up as reception and a bird watching area. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back.

Motel Inverness is the perfect base for your Point Reyes adventure. It is located on the shores of Tomales Bay and affords unrestricted views of wildlife that inhabit the area. The property itself is well-maintained however the rooms are somewhat small but very comfortable. The staff (Lynn) makes sure that your visit goes well.

we found this little gem as we visited Point Reyes. we arrived with no reservation and the staff was friendly and helpful. the room was quaint, very clean and quiet. we will definitly return and wouldnt even consider staying anywhere else.
