We chose this place because it was located in the right spot traversing through that part of California. But it turned out to be a find! The cottage was comfortable and everything was good, but the best part turned out to be the people who worked there... very friendly and very accommodating. We loved it.

This cottage has no access to the river and is steps from the main road and the traffic is louder than my city apt. If you want to relax and have peace and quiet during the day to write and read, don't stay here. It is a great place to crash after a day of wine tasting or something.

This was my second time that I have stayed at the Cottages in Guernville. What a great place. The staff makes you feel at home.
