We stayed here on a trip to Sonoma and Napa and found the inn to have nice accommodations at a decent price. Relaxed, low-key environs. There are no frills but the rooms are clean, well maintained and a nice setting. If you like to run there's a nice country road for a 4 mile run with little traffic. Don't miss... More

We stayed two nights. We had cottage #1 which was disappointing to learn it didn't have as lovely as a shower as the rest because it's handicap accessible. The showerhead system was terrible.....not sure why it would have to be a cheap version? The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch and we both easily fit in it together. The town... More

I recently stayed in an overpriced room in Cocoa Beach, Florida, which reminded me of my stay at the Glen Ellen Inn. We loved our cottage behind the restaurant. It was quiet, cozy, and had a wonderful hot tub which we made full use of. We could hear the stream flowing right outside our window. The basket of goodies was... More

We are glad we stayed in Glenn Ellen Inn as it is a charming place in charming surroundings. It is in a tiny village in a very isolated area, but that is exactly what we wanted. The cottage we lived in (#7) is very spacious and tastefully decorated. We have really enjoyed a jaccuzzi and a gaz chimney. Their bath... More

We travel here quite a bit and have stayed here for a few years now. The location is good for touring wine country and it is peaceful and quiet here. Things are clean and well cared for although on our last trip it looks like the carpet is due for a change (hence only 4 stars). Other than that, this... More

What a wonderful find! We recently celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary and attended the annual wine tasting event in Glen Ellen. We will return time and time again to the Secret Cottages! The creekside setting was so peaceful and the cottages quaint and intimate. We stayed in cottage #5, and our son and his fiancee stayed in cottage #3. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights on our 10 year anniversary! We loved it! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable! The jet tub was amazing after a long day of wine drinking and shopping. It was a little chilly at night, so having the fireplace as heat was great for not only warmth... More

We really enjoy staying at Glen Ellen Inn. This was our second visit and we stayed in the same cottage (#5). Very quiet and centrally located for our purposes! Nice continental breakfast every morning complete with coffee, scones and fresh fruit. Steamer shower and whirlpool bath are a plus and new decorations in the room this time with a French... More

My husband and I reserved a cottage for 2 nights and I found it sort of average. The strengths are that it was clean, great bed and walkable distances to several restaurants and the local community. I did not like not having a room phone, and because our cel phone was not working, we had no way to contact any... More

My husband and I had driven through the quaint Glen Ellen area a few times over the past several years, but had never stayed there. The Secret Cottages are very nicely and thoughtfully decorated. The whirlpool hot tub was wonderful after a day of wine tasting and hiking in the nearby Jack London State Park (sadly, slated to close due... More
