We stay at HI Express hotels for about 4 months each year, so we know what to expect at this chain. Not quite very good. Location just off 101 alongside 3 other hotels. Eel River Brewery one block away, all other dining options two or three miles away. “Really a nice place to stay”

Very large rooms with a frig and microwave. Restaurants on the other side of the main high way. Breakfast better than most places. Clean, etc. Price was also quite good compared to what else was in the area.

Hotel was clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was good, pool as very nice. Check in was fast and friendly. Front desk person suggested Eel River Brewing Co for dinner and we got 10% off with our room key. We would definitely stay again!

“Convenient Clean fairly priced”

Stayed only one night - very convenient to US 101 after long drive. Nice room, OK breakfast. Short walk to the Eel River Brew Pub. Best part for us- dog friendly. Close to the Avenue of the Giants - a really great drive

Humboldt County has some of the worst and probably most trashed hotels in the USA. Eureka and Arcata hotels have been infested with bad seeds for many years and many of the hotels show the wear and tear.
