We stayed at the Beach Village for the first time for 4 nights on a last minute trip in a 2 bed suite with our 10 month old baby & nanny. I have visited San Diego at least twice a year my entire life but this was my first stay in Coronado. I just cannot think of another 5* hotel... More

These units are over $1,000 a night and I have stayed in much nicer for much less. They are right on the beach though which is a plus. The unit was nicely laid out if you have a child that goes to bed early. You can close the pocket doors around the bedroom and still use the rest of the... More

! My husband surprised me with a long weekend at the Del Coronado Beach Villa, and it was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were amazing, with fireplace in the bedroom and living room, balcony looking directly out into the Pacific Ocean, granite counter tops, large master bath, extra-large shower, spa tub, granite and marble throughout, and one of the most comfortable... We recently spent 4 nights at the Beach Village, enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It is a wonderful way to get the atmosphere and amenities of the Del without having to deal with the crowds and creakiness of some of the rooms in the hotel. This comes, however, at a high price....valet parking costs $38 and internet service... More

We stayed in a cottage guestroom for three nights over spring break. The room was nice and modern, but not as luxurious as most of the 5 star properties I've stayed at. The positives were the beach front location, walkability to reasonably priced stores and restaurants, complimentary breakfast at the windsor cottage and family friendly environment. The grounds and the... More

Stayed here back in January for a family trip and stayed in the Beach Villas. They are right on the beach and the rooms are absolutely beautiful. We had the room with queen beds attached to the kitchen living room and our friends stayed in the king room attached. The patio is right on the beach with a firepit and... More

Great Breakfast on the beach, one of the most beautiful rooms i've been in, with a great view. the only reason that this isnt 5 star is because there was a lot of fees even after we booked the place on expedia. i was not expected it to be as costly as it was. if you have the money to... More

It was our first trip to San Diego Christmas week 2011, we were boarding a cruise on 23 December, so we stayed at the Beach Villas for a total of three nights. The hotel was in full Christmas Spirit, with decorations, lighting, music it was spectacular. We did have a couple of hiccups while we stayed in the beach front villas, but... More

My husband and I stayed at the the Del for 3 nights in February 2012. Three days before our arrival, we received an email that we had been upgraded to the Beach Village at the Del. At the time, I wasn't sure what that meant-but we discovered we were in for a treat! When we arrived at the Del, we... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights and got the Romantic Package which included a dozen roses, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Before I get to the oddities, I must say the property itself is exceptional, but the service is not in the same league as other San Diego county hotels in which we have stayed (La Valencia, Rancho...
