My husband and I stayed there last month for three days and although the potential for this place is amazing, it fell short. Considering it was not clean, there was a smell of rotting flesh due to a dead animal being under the house and the in-keep refused to concern himself with it or to forewarn us, I would have... More

We only stayed a night and skipped the breakfast due to other plans. The owner was very accomodating to our last minute reservation and did agree to a discount without the breakfast. Fortunately, we had the main building to ourselves since our room didn't have a private bath (one of our usual prerequisites). This property is very, very quiet. Something... More

My husband, myself and our toddler stayed at the Coloma Country Inn the night before and the night of our wedding. We stayed in the charming Garden Studio which was perfect for us 3 and all of our needs! All of my conversations with Bonnie over the phone were great and they were understanding with us in every way, even... More

My husband and I stayed at the Coloma Country Inn for this past weekend for a Friday-through-Sunday getaway in Gold Country and couldn't have had a nicer time. Craig made us two delicious breakfasts and gave us great recommendations for hikes and things to do in the area. The inn itself was charming (we stayed in the lovely Lavender Room)... More

Seven of us stayed in the entire cottage at the Coloma Country Inn for a family getaway. The cottage is charming, the decor whimisical, the beds oh so comfortable, the linens great, 2 bathrooms for seven women with plenty of towels, 2 refrigerators for our necessities and 2 coffee pots, with all the necessities, for the early risers. Craig and... More

We chose to stay at the Coloma Country Inn because our first choice in accommodation in Coloma was booked. We stayed in the studio cottage, which was charming and well decorated. This would be a great accommodation for a family that was passing through town. The cottage was decorated with "shabby chic" vintage items and was comfortable for my husband... More

We have had the opportunity to stay at the Coloma Country Inn on two occasions, one of which was with a wedding party. We had our children with us, so it wasn't a romantic weekend away, but we all had an incredibly memorable time. The rooms are very clean and tastefully rustic. The unfinished floors are a lovely touch to... More

What a wonderful stay. Tucked away in the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, this little gem is just an hour from Sacramento. Our room, the Rose Room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet with a small fenced in patio. The decor of the house gave an invitation to settle in with a book and relax. Our host, Craig Sanborn saw... My boyfriend and i stayed here for two nights whilst on a trip around California, i can honestly say it was the best accommodation of all on our trip. When we arrived we found out that our room had been upgraded and we were now staying in the beautiful "Rose" room with en suite and a very comfy bed. The... More

I was looking for a quiet place to take my husband for his birthday. And oh, by the way, we wanted to take our new pet dog, Karma, along. So based on some recommendations, we found the Coloma Country Inn, about 3 hours from the Bay Area. We stayed in the Garden Suite, one of two rooms that allows pets.... More
