This instantly takes #1 spot on my list. The first thing we noticed when we pulled up, was the play area for kids of all ages. Stopped here some time ago, a very nice and well kept site, its perfectly run. Very nice layout and tent areas. Very handy for the sea-front and the great San Diego Zoo.

We had a fantastic time. Lovely green park, clean amenities, friendly staff, would definitely return.

We have stayed at several KOAs across the country and this is our favorite thus far. Close to everything and reasonably priced.

This really is the crown jewel of camping in Southern California. Quiet yet centrally located, you can get anywhere you want in SD in 20 minutes from your campsite.
