My church group stayed here 2 nights in the church mission to Mexico since the hotel is located only within 20 minutes. I found the hotel rooms showed age and desperately need renovation although the hotel staff was friendly as another reviewer mentioned. The room was not kept clean in my standard. I didn't see any bedbugs but was worried... More

Stayed at the Ramada Inn Chula Vista for two nights in March (was working at the Bonita Mall for the weekend which is very, very close to the hotel). Hotel rates were very good. Breakfast was very, very simple (cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc) but not too crowded the two mornings that I used the free breakfast. Plenty of parking and... More

Came on a busy weekend. Hotel was overbooked. We were able to check in would a problem. Hotel kinda worn. Pool was nice. Bed linens/towels were C- level. No micro or fridge. Average size room. Lobby ok. Breakfast area big, but since hotel was full, it was cramped. The breakfast area food was a frozen mcmuffin type thing. W cereal,... More

First off I booked through priceline, I thought I got a good deal, but this was not worth the money! The beds are on plywood boxes (very cheap and tacky) We moved the beds, and there was rat poison underneath, along with trash, food, and dirt. The bathroom had a lot of mold, cracked counter tops, and the water in... More

I moved from Florida to ChulaVista & had to stay at a hotel till our place was ready for us to move in. I chose the Ramada because is a little closer to the schools where my kids are attending. I booked for 11 nights and was planning to stay 3 more nights at the end. Well, here is how... More

pros: location was directly off of the expressway, less than 10 miles from mexico border, next to BurgerKing and other restaurants, hotel was easy to find Cons: moldy bathroom, peeling wallpaper, lumpy bed, spotty/slow wifi, continental breakfast restricted to eating in a room that was too small to accomodate all guests, leak in bathroom from upstairs through ceiling

I gave this an average rating because that's exactly what it is. I stayed at the Ramada Inn San Diego South for four nights while doing an event at Comic-Con. Considering any hotel in the city was charging triple the rates, the $129 was a great value. Not under normal circumstances, but what are you gonna do when it's a... More

My husband and I stayed 3 nights. Need more microwaves and refrigerators available for rooms. Need to inforce quiet times am & pm. We were woken up nightly by kids running in hallways. Only nice coment is it was clean for an old motel.
