We recently stayed at the Carmel Valley Lodge for a large family wedding. Would highly recommend this place, we had a wonderful time, the staff were always going out of their way to help. Beautiful location, and wonderfully kept facilities. Many options of room types to suit all sizes of parties. Would certainly go back again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and couldn't believe how amazing everything was. Our room (which was more like a cottage) was stunning. My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a short family vacation and loved it. On the advice of previous travelers, we booked an upgraded room, and were very pleased. The room we had and others we saw were about 40 years old. Especially for the price I would have expected furniture/ambience a little less dated. Be sure to ask if there are upgraded rooms before you book. Even so, the staff, breakfast, and restaurants in town that you can walk to were very nice.
