We stayed for 2 nights in Metta Resort and Spa and enjoyed every bit of it. The day we reached there, there was a cultural show also. Room wise - beautiful rooms, with all amenities. Well thought-out room. Spacious. Had a TV, wi-fi connection, tea/coffee maker, emergency lights etc. Food - excellent. Best thing is they are willing to give... More

The food was so delicious! Special effort was made to accommodate our son who was not feeling well, so he had home-cooked porridge which he loved! It seems like most of the vegetables were home grown in the plots outside so I suppose we had organic food throughout! The view was beautiful and the air so fresh! It conveyed a... More

We stayed in Metta from 18 - 19 April 2013. We were delighted with the Thai-theme buffet dinner on our first night & the specially prepared waxed meat clay-pot rice (Lap Mei Fun) on our last night as a wrap-up for our Bhutan trip :) And the yummy dessert on both nights was fantastic - the ginger cake :) Cheers... Me and my wife stayed in this resort for three nights and all while we felt we checked in a very familiar place, though this was our first trip to Bhutan. Mostly run by smart and English (surprisingly Hindi also) speaking Bhutanese girls, you will find them as charming and welcoming at any point of time. Rooms are spacious, beds... More

This is a very nice place with great service and very good food for Bhutan. It is a bit out of the way but very relaxing and nice. Clean and quiet - a real view into Paro. The people were very kind and welcoming to our family.

Spent 4 days at Metta, one the first night in Bhutan and three at the end of the trip. The first night I found the room to be cold, however the bathroom stayed warm with the heater and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The robes provided kept me warm. A visit to the spa for... More

i stayed here for 3 nights last week. The property is under renovation and I was not as impressed as other guests apparently are. The rooms are ok, but the bathrooms need new fixtures. There were only two heaters, one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom, they could use one more. I was very disappointed that although WIFI... More

The Room I stayed at the Metta Resort and Spa for 3 nights. At the first when I saw my room, I was quite skeptical because despite the really nicely painted wall, the furniture and the toilet looked quite old. However, this is a very small matter as what is more important, the room is clean and spotless :). My... More

Beautiful, clean, efficient, boutique-like hotel we feel so at home straight away. The owner a Malaysian had traveled the world and when she realised we come from Malaysia, went to the kitchen herself to show off her culinary skill. Aren't we lucky having our favourite Bak Kut Teh and Nasi Lemah and Pad Thai. We are also fortunate to have the... More
