I stayed in this resort for 2 nights in November 2013. I would say the service of this hotel is very good. I have a special diet to follow and the cook was very accomodating to cook extra dishes for me. The room is very spacious and clean. A big bathroom with heater. The balcony view of the Paro Dzong... My stay was in December 2012, I don't think there were many other people there. The room was very large and required an additional space heater for adequate heat (easily available just for the asking). Nice balcony which would be very pleasant in warm weather for watching airplanes landing and taking off. Located just opposite the airport terminal up the... More

Airport facing resort style property which served the best food specially Indian/ Chinese Vegetarian in town. We checked in at the top most room facing the airport and watching the landing and take off planes from our sit out in the room at one of the smallest airport of the world was fun.Staff was very accomodating and food was execllent... Excellent staff were always attentive to our requests. You do NOT have to eat the buffets, you can ask for menu and order anything you want-food is generally included in your daily fee. So if you don't like what you've been eating, ask for what you liked in the past. Breakfast eggs and hot toast were great-they don't know how... More

On a hillside with a nice view of Paro's not too busy, interesting airport this resort is really a pleasant place to stay. Standard comfortable rooms have balconies with small tables and chairs so you can observe those rare airplanes landing and taking off from the Paro airport. That can indeed be interesting by itself. Our room had an electric... More

Lovely place with great views! Once you step into your room, you're greeted with complimentary fruits and soft drinks. Although I'm not a fan of soft drinks, is nice to see the drinks are complimentary. Love the heater in the room! Is large yet thin so it doesn't takes up a lot of space but makes the room really warm.... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Khangkhu Resort. The room was large and clean with basic furniture. Our room had 2 twin size beds and a patio. They gave us a smoking room even though we don't smoke. Maybe all of the rooms are smoking rooms? I was a bit unhappy with having an ashtray in our... More

I arrived here from Thimphu to climb the Tiger's Nest and then leave the following morning. We wanted some food to take with us for the climb so we ordered some sandwiches, noodles and momos. As we joked, we should not have ordered slow cook momos. It took an hour to get our order together. But the food was well... More

Great place to stay but they need to have some provision for air cooling as well in summers. The rooms don't have fans which can be required in summers and in rains to get off the flies. They have an excellent chef specializing in Indian cuisine and serve some of the best curries and snacks. Though we were there in... More

My husband and I stayed here right after landing in Paro. My husband is a giant, so we were lucky to get room 204, which had a king size bed. Many of the rooms are actually like little villas...ours was tucked in the back and was quite a hike up a rocky path, but worth it for the privacy and... More
