My friends and I just got back from our 4th trip to Moonstone Landing. We keep going back because of the location, the friendly staff, nice rooms and the view. They have a nice breakfast with fruit, yogurt, cereal, pastries, bagels, juice, tea and coffee. This year we were also back early enough to enjoy the afternoon snacks of veggies,... More

This property never disappoints us. We DO try to check around with the other hotels, but they always come up short in comparison. Moonstone Landing feels modern. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable memories. Kudos to owners Claire and Dan. They are exceptional listeners and their recommendations absolutely fit us. We also appreciate staffers Mary and Denise. One of the really cool things... More

We stayed one night on our way to San Francisco. It's a simple place, with a decent size room in a beautiful location. Breakfast is non-existent and not appetizing: watered down juice, few muffins, old bagels and cereal. No good coffee either. Overall, it's a convenient and reasonably priced place, good value. Eat breakfast in the village.

Came in last minute but remembered the area from a couple of years ago driving through. We were so impressed with the place but didn't have an opportunity at the time to stay. This time we passed up Sedona and Las Vegas to be able to stay here. So very worth it. The beds are super comfortable with a nice... More

Stayed in Cambria to enjoy the small town and location close to Paso Robles. After a day of enjoying the wine country, there is no better way to end it than viewing the ocean. The rooms are large and with fireplaces made it very romantic. The staff was great.

Now talk about location and great value- this is it. This is a great place for your first or twentieth trip to Cambria. Great staff, fantastic room. Only complaint is they could ad a little more variety to their morning breakfast bar. The staff are all just simply WONDERFUL!!

Stayed this past weekend for my son's 28th birthday and loved Moonstone Landing. Room were spacious and spotless, and the bathrooms very impressive (and most importantly, CLEAN!). Pricing, compared to the other places on Moonstone Beach Drive, was very good. There are fireplaces in each room, and they are the only source of heating. Beware, they can heat up the... More

Since we live less than 3 hours from Cambria we visit often. This is one of our favorite places to stay. They are many bed & breakfasts on Moonstone Beach. The town of Cambria is divided into east and west villages. Both have many little gift shops and restaurants. It's romantic and the area surrounding Cambria is lined with pine... More

Our stay was in October of 2010 and we still talk about how much we loved this little place. Fireplace in the room. Right on the Ocean. Friendly staff. Immaculate room. Just loved it. It's NOT a chain hotel, so don't expect one. But if you are looking for a cosy, quiet and friendly little place on California's beautiful coast,... More
