Very friendly when I checked in late after driving from Palm Springs. Check in was easy and the breakfast was delicious. This place is located on the eastern side of the sierra nevadas and the mountains are beautiful. I would have liked to stay and explore the area but I was traveling through. If I go back, I would definitely... More

Love this hotel. The beds are cozy and its a good thing because it was cold outside! New carpet. Room was very clean and large! We had a view of the river out back and the sierras out front. Hubby was able to wake up early and go into the other room to enjoy his coffee and watch TV on... More

Thank you - we have made lots of updates - flat screen tvs, remodeled the bathrooms, updated bedding and curtains. But the nature outside is the most beautiful - lots of snow for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and the ice skating pond is right next door!! More

Made last minute reservations for a final fishing weekend and thought the room was great, extremely clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable. Only complaint was a pretty noisy wall fan, but other than that, we loved it!

Thank you for the nice review. You must have stayed in room 30. We have tried to get that fan changed for a month! With small towns, sometimes it takes awhile for things to get fixed, but we are on it, I promise! More

Very comfortable rooms, with deck overlooking lawn area and river. Rooms come with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv and wi-fi. The lawn area allows dogs (if you don't clean-up after your pet there is a fine, so do the right thing!). There are picnic tables and several bbq's for guests use. Deck is great for watching stars and sunrises.

This is a nice motel. The rooms are small but clean. They have a small breakfast area at the office and its enough to get you going. The rooms are clean , with coffee and a micro wave in the room. The room was around $100, I would say $ 79 would be a more reasonable price. One thing everyone... More

Wanted to "leaf peep" in the Eastern Sierra and figured that Bridgeport was the most central location for lodging. We have driven through Bridgeport many times on our way to Tahoe, but never did much more than stop for a frosty at Jolly Kone. The Walker River Lodge has a small town charm and look that I love. We stayed... More

We were heading to Bridgeport for fishing and sight seeing. We saw a review and made a reservation. This motel is one of the nicest places we have stayed in a long time. We had room #30 with twin queen beds on river. River is low so that is not the attraction. We ate lunch at a very nice restaurant... More

Smallest room I've ever stayed in--about 12x12. They tried to squeeze a king size bed in there and a reg double would have more than filled it. Absolutely too small to walk around the room w/o moving chairs or closing closet door or moving other things out of way. Wall-mounted A/C just inside door was only 8 feet from our... More

Fact - Our absolute smallest room is 16 x 19 - over twice the size stated and we have pelnty of rooms and suites that are much bigger. Fact - In our smallest room the air conditioner is 15 feet away from where you lay your head on the pillow. Again, twice as far as stated. And again, we have... More

We stayed here for a night en route to Lake Tahoe. The review about bedbugs had me a bit nervous, but we had no problems. We paid extra for the river side room and were very glad we did. Small private patio to sit and watch the sunset. Room was away from highway so very quiet. I was most impressed... More

This is the first hotel you see from 395 and as weary travelers with children, that is the only reason we stayed here. The night was punctuated with the roar of a loud fan that turned on and off every five minutes and ended with three of us covered in bites from bedbugs. I waited until the lobby was empty before... Management response:

We do not have bedbugs. My manager sent our head maintenance man out immediately to check on the room once the guest made the statement. He checked the entirety of the room and found NO evidence of bedbugs. I would like this post taken down - this is our reputation on the line and this post is false. More
