Boulder Creek Resort is located two miles east of the dam on the south shore of Big Bear Lake. It is a complex of 50 privately-owned units of which about 20 are rented on a nightly basis. The condos are two-bedroom, two-bathroom units with full kitchen, fireplace, and an outdoor, common-area Jacuzzi (open all year) and swimming pool (open during the summer months), plus a common-area rec. room with a pool table. Each of the well-equipped condos has either a DVD player or VCR, and movie rentals are available in the office which is located on premises. The complex is located just a few hundred feet from the lake and the park where there is a fishing dock and picnic area. We are next to Blanca & Pierre's Restaurant and Boulder Bay Market, and the popular Castle Rock hiking trail is about a half mile down the road. In addition to the condos, we rent private cabins as well. Two of the cabins are located near Holloway's Marina & R.V. Park which is an excellent place to rent boats, take a tour on the Time Bandit pirate ship, try out the new wakeboard cable park, or purchase fishing tackle. Holloway's is also affiliated with North Shore Landing where you can rent boats and personal watercraft and hire a boat for waterskiing or wakeboarding. We also rent a chalet at the base of the Snow Summit ski area - a great place for outdoor enthusiasts during the winter for skiing or summer and fall for mountain biking or hiking. All of our units are privately owned, so although they have the same basic layout, the decor differs based on the owners' individual tastes.
