Snowmobile noise until 1 am. Management will deny everything. Even the expensive rooms need to be undated. Short-staffed in restaurants. Lodge felt like kids ski house. More

The lodge is quaint -- beautiful great room with fireplace...but that is the highlight. Unfortunately for those that desire to ski at Bear Valley, this is your only option -- and the hotel knows it.
