Stayed here at the end of the Copper Canyon train journey. Well appointed, high standard rooms and fast Wifi. The hotel is quite generically western so after the very Mexican experience of El Chepe one does feel that you could be anywhere in the world. Check in/out process was very smooth. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel... More

A centrally located city hotel in which we stayed one night. All pretty much ok, with a particulary good breakfast. More

A good hotel with an old-world atmosphere - well-appointed rooms, good service. Breakfast was good, but pricey. We took the bus from the port and then a taxi to get to the hotel. The bus to El Fuerte the next morning was only a few blocks away. More

We stayed here due to a change in our itinerary prompted by my daughter's ear infection. We were booked at another Balderamma Hotel but my daughter's ear was too uncomfortable at altitude (Copper Canyon) so we left early and were offered this fine hotel in place of the one we had originally booked (it is on our route). Let me... More

Stayed there on our trip to Mazatlan. It is easy tofind and the room are nice. We had 2 beds and a couch. Free WiFI. We could plug in our magicjack and call home and then use our slingbox to watch the Yankees win. The hotel is 51 years old and very nice. We woould stay there again. More

we arrived at 11pm and reception was friendly and efficient and helpful. room was really nice, upscale and comfortable. breakfast buffet was great and reasonably priced with lots of variety. in the US this would be a 3-4 star hotel and only drawback was we felt like we were in the US and not mexico, otherwise it's a great hotel. We stayed there before catching the train to the Copper Canyon. For the tourist this is probably the only reason to stay in Los Mochis as there is not much going on there. We had a massive room which was really nice. For some reason whilst the room had AC the corridor did not but that did not bother us.... More

We stayed here the night before our start on the Copper Canyon trip. We arrived by taxi at dusk and were taken to our room by the very friendly staff. There was free bottled water in the room. Everything is very old and worn, but also clean. The shower was good and hot and we felt safe here. Staff spoke... More

We stayed one night at the Hotel Santa Anita before beginning our trip on El Chepe. The hotel is modern and quite good looking from the street with a lobby restaurant and travel agency. Our room ($110+ tax) was small but clean and modern. There were problems however with the hot water - we were assured when we checked in... More
