We stayed in this hotel for four days in May 2012. For the price we payed it was a great choice. We had a good (clean, bright, and spacious) double room with a nice balcony. The breakfast - even though we missed it most of the time, since we were waking up early to hike - was also good. Of... More

First off, the setting is great. Right on promenade and besdie tram stop. There is also a comfortable bar out the front with comfy sofas. That's where the pleasantries end. For €75/night this place is not even approaching value. Double room with 2 single fold up beds, and a lack of plugs. Distinct presence of mosquitoes (no air-con, only a... More

Spare room in a hotel right on the beach. Tolerable but uncomfortable mattress. Lack of air conditioning combined with lack of insect net on the windows made for an uncomfortable night. Complementary breakfast was good.

We just returned from a wonderful week at the Mirimar. Simple, basic and perfectly situated on the most picturesque bay, this little gem is no corporate stop over or swish pool palace. Yes, it's a little bit tatty round the edges and the staff don't speak the "best" English but bang for buck it can't be beaten. We arrived late... More

Very EXTREME BAD TOURISM EXPERIENCE!!! We order the famous Spanish dish Paella. The food came 1hr after ordering and the rice was not fully cook, we taste it and it was half raw. We inform the server and ask the dish to be fully cooked. The dish came the 2nd time (1hr later, equal to 2hrs. for cooking), the rice... More

Absolute great location at the city bay front. If you are able to look beyond the somewhat outdated looks ande interior of this hotel, you will find warm and friendly, service oriented receptionist, a (unheated) pool and some really decent food. When we asked for an extra bed for our 6 year old we even got a free upgrade instead... More

Great base for touring or walking in the Soller area, tram stops outside door so the wee train trip from Palma was a treat in the spring sunshine. No frills with this hotel but honest to goodness fare and service outshine many so called grander hotels. Manageress Katti will help with any queries and is a wee gem!! thank you... More

excellent location. we had a spacious room with mountain view. a budget hotel, with not too many amenities. mattresses not that comfortable and the hot water in the shower was lukewarm. the breakfast spread is adequate, nothing spectacular. but given the price of the rooms, it is a good deal. friendly and helpful hostess. we had an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is situated in a great spot, right on the seafront, opposite the tram stop - there are plenty of places to eat nearby, and I think, great views out the back over the mountains, as well as from the front. There's free wifi, albeit slow, and we found we could only access it in the bar / reception... More

Came from Palma, via Soller, travelling alone. Easter '09. I stayed at the Miramar; a modest one * hotel with fantastic sea views. The manager, Caty is a sincere, informal but efficient host and the rooms, though basic are quite satisfactory. The village of Puerto de Soller is inviting and is perfect for a foodie who has time to walk,... More
