The rooms are amazingly good for a slightly off the beaten track location. Service friendly, polite and very thorough. Food really good, but beware "fresh from the sea" means exactly that - not cooked.

A basic hotel, but staffed by very friendly and helpful staff - and next to a wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended!

Rick Steves recommended so you know it is good. Elevator, so no stairs. Nice. Kobarid is a nice little town. We stayed there after going thru the scenic Vsric pass. A group of fishermen stayed here for 4 nights in early July 2011.I cannot recommend the hotel too highly.The staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was done with a smile.The rooms were clean and comfortable the food was great and nothing was a problem for the staff.A very warm friendly place well located.We will most certainly be back.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times and enjoy the welcome I get from Alesh and Tania, the owners, and their family. Theyt couldnt be more helpful oprganising thin gs for me when I go there to fish the lovely Slovenian rivers.

The rooms at this hotel are just fine, a little over-priced, but the warm service and fabulous restaurant make up for this. If you are touring around Slovenia, Kobarid is definitely worth a stop for the night. Be sure to visit the local museum!
