This B&B is in an area not known for mass tourism, so could be less worried about its image. But it is not only very well kept but is very friendly! A great hub to explore this area rich in history & culture.

Flemingstown House was our introduction to the beautiful people of Ireland. Imelda welcomed us into her home and treated us like family. Our room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the countryside. Breakfast was outstanding. Imelda provided sightseeing tips and travel advice. Stayed here when attended a wedding in nearby Castle Oliver. It was amazing - palatial rooms, beautiful bed linens and furniture, and the best breakfast in Ireland. Imelda even shared her recipe for homemade granola with us (served with rhubarb compote). Cathryn Costello
