We have stayed at Creta Mare three times which probably speaks for itself. The views from the balconies (all sea facing) are beautiful. The hotel is a bit ugly and outdated but the room was fine and large, great balkony and great view over the bay. Beach at the doorstep for the lazy day and quiet at night. We have stayed several times at creta mare you will find difficulty in having better accomodation in Plakias.George the owner can speak enough English to manage a conversation.The rooms are very clean and have all been renovated very nicely.It is quiet at night and the views superb.We will certainly be returning next year. More

quite poor on the inside. The view from the room is great but the room itself is run down. In my studio there was leakage in the bathroom. It was not smelly but the floor was always wet.
