We booked a week at the end of May and were allocated apartment 212 which is on the first floor at the end of the building closest to the entrance gate. It had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable for two people (it's on two floors with the bedroom and bathroom upstairs). We had one or two niggles about... More

The accomodation was first class, BUT do not use ATS taxis from Val de Reuil, (its the only Taxi number on the station),they do not only overcharge but actually charge double, we used them as we did not have a hire car booked until the following Day, but after checking normal prices, discovered this. If you need a cab call... More

We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was really well fitted out. I've been to appartments in France where the sleeping arrangements consist of a sofa bed plus bunk beds shoved in the hall. Also kitchen facilities at some place consist of a hob with 2 rings and a microwave (if you're lucky!). Well that's not what you get at... More

We stayed for 5 nights just prior to Christmas. Good location to experience the French countryside, and not too far from Paris. We were able to visit Omaha beach and the memorial, Disneyland Paris, and of course Paris. Rooms are clean, but not a lot of space to move around. We had a 2 bedroom one bath for 4 of... More

Ok,it's not on the major routes but a nice little place all the same. We stayed for 7 days over the Christmas period and had a lovely time. We had a 2 bed/2 bath apartment overlooking the river, (worth spending extra points for more room). Even though we spent little time in the apartment through the day it was nice... More

First, the positive. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway, by the Seine and with a bridge across to an island. The small swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are well maintained. The staff are helpful. But - our apartment smelt stale and sweaty and was stuck in the 1980's, with very poor quality furnishings. The kitchen lacked knives, saucepans... More

Wonderful setting. Long way to drive for dinner, well Long way to driver for anything! Room has full self catering and laundry washing facilities, don't forget to bring food home with you. We managed to get this room for £40 per night, which at that price was a cheap night by any ones standards. Room was in the top of... More

The Manor of Two Lovers is in a very rural area twenty minutes by narrow, winding country roads from the nearest supermarket, gas station, or major motorway. However, it is peaceful, restful, and a pleasant, quiet setting. We stayed there for 12 days September 18-30, 2011 using timeshare points as Diamond Resort members. The points expended were reasonable, considering we... More

The appartment was dated and certainly had not been cleaned properly. There were hairs left in the bathroom, an emtp plastic bottle under the sofa and I dont think the TV stand had ever been cleaned behind. Worst of all the bedroom stank of cigerette smoke. It was a mud path to get to the outdoor pool and the indoor... More

We were greeted by a very helpful receptionist called Aurelie, who preferred my husband to use French but this wasn't a problem. The apartment was of a high standard and was furnished in a tasteful, contemporary style. The apartment had two balconies which overlooked the river Seine. The children enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools and made good use of... More
