Lake view Ashok is one of the best place to hangout. The lake view and water spots in lake is great. Shahane Bhopal 'The Train Restaurant' is also one of the good experience to have meals. Staff and service is good........ Great food to enjoy.

This government owned hotel suffers from a few serious flaws: the bathroom has no ventilation, the toilet seat is unstable and cannot be lifted, the towels are coarse and has never seen a clothes softner, and the balcony, overlooking the lake can be used only if the room AC is switched off! If you are in bhopal then do not miss the change to stay in this hotel only for great view and peaceful at atmosphere. Management is not very good and food is also just ok.Train restaurant is really good.. over all very good experience for me. Do not expect much regarding treatment and services

Fantastic views over the lake, but the hotel is only OK. Rooms are a bit dated, but at least there was lots of hot water so we could get a decent shower.
