Place is slightly uphill from the main market. Totally worth it for the views and the friendly staff. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive place but very friendly, and with a tidy little restaurant where you can eat out on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Rooms are clean and tidy and the linen is fresh and clean too. I'd go again.

We had a lovely stay in McCleo Ganj at Pema Thang where the staff were so friendly and caring. The view from the rooms is the best looking out over the valley and the Dalai Lama monestary.
