Uncommonly pleasant and kind place, the nights I was there I was a bit achy from the difficult and long ride in, the staff had a fellow sleep on the porch in case I needed anything. The food was prepared to my desire, the manager came and talked with me at length after dinner. It was a superb place and... More

Very nice place and the staff is very helpful. That is really so quiet. Far away from the business city so stressful of Kampala and so many places in the world. The trekking to go and see the gorillas is nice, but not easy. That is anyway worth the 3,5h climbing journey. Back to the lodge, the cottage is so... More

Many people have already raved about the location so I'll just say "I second that". Incredible views from the main lodge and an outside couch that me and my girlfriend spend hours on one rainy afternoon that inspired so many great thoughts. I was blown away by the customer service - everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and courteous…we came back... More

This hotel is in an excellent location and is so peaceful- I certainly slept like a rock after a long day of gorilla tracking. The rooms were very clean and spacious, simple design without any kitschy decor that you often find in Africa. The entire staff went out of their way to get to know the guests. They attended to my... WIth coffee or tea brought to your room as you wake up in the morning your day could not start off any more peaceful and perfect. The lodge is set in a beautiful location close to the National Park and offers a haven with caring staff attending to every detail. The chef is world class. All the personnel were attentive and truly made us feel like family. The grounds are well planned to produce most of the greens served at the meals. We felt very lucky... More

Mahogany springs has wonderfully spacious rooms with a modern feel. The mosquito netting was designed to encircle 2 double beds which gave the room a cozy feel at night. Crawling into bed and finding a warm bed thanks to a hot water bottle was a wonderful touch. The food and dining area overlooks the Forrest and some afternoons you may... More

Howard London Mahogany Springs ruins you for the other lodges. From the furniture to the beds everything is luxurious. Nothing is too much trouble from the friendly staff and everything is done with a certan panache. When you come back to your chalet from dinner not only has it been cleaned and tidied a hot water bottle has been placed... More

I stayed at the Mahogany Springs for 2 days and they were two heanly days. We were received by the GM at the Kayonza airfield and were driven to the Lodge and an introduction to Buhoma, the inpenetrable forest and Bewindi in general. Once at Mahogany Springs I was just taken by the beautiful surrounding, the legant architecture and the... More
