Great hideaway location for time with friends, although near to everything to enjoy as a tourist and wine buff. Would definitely stay here again when in the Marget River wine area. A lovely, cosy retreat for the family. We loved the fire and the animals. Lots of space for the boys to explore. It was close to lots of things to see and we were able to cook our own dinners which was a saving for the famly. Would go back.

We have been to the Stone Cottages a few times now. They are quiet, secluded, pet-friendly cottages in a bush setting. Ideal for bush walks where you can see kangaroos and emus, as well as rich bird life. A good place to disconnect from city life.

We had a long weekend here and enjoyed it very much. Cottages are well looked after and are nicely fitted out. The kitchen has appliances and utensils you would expect. We plan to return with other family members.

But they are cleaner, much more insect free, and now have air-conditioning (which is needed in the hotter months -which could run from October to April inclusive).
