The hotel is clean with comfortable beds. We had a triple room, which was the smallest room we experienced in Japan. However, we spent very little time in the hotel so this was not a problem. We liked the wide choice of free amenities by the front desk, which included hairbands & clips, bath lotion and face-masks. There was a reasonable choice of hot & cold items for breakfast - mainly Japanese but they also had good pastries and bread rolls.

The low-priced hotel is a 10 minute walk (500 m) on powdery snow covered ground from Asahikawa train station. Our Triple Room (1 double bed and 1 bunk bed) was super small but has everything we needed (except bottled water) for a comfortable overnight stay after visiting Ningle Terrace in Furano before heading to Noboribetsu the next morning by train. The room was quiet and clean and the bed comfortable. The complimentary buffet breakfast which comprises Japanese breakfast and some pasteries was the best breakfast I had during our 8 days in Hokkaido. Do note that reception staff speaks very simple English

An excellent little hotel with free breakfast, onsen, and coin laundry. Check the website for openings as aggregate websites seem to miss it. Normally I would rate it 4 stars but the staff went over and above to be accomodating and helpful as I stayed the nights after the large earthquake and I couldn't get out of town.

14 of us happily start our first night at Super Hotel Asahikawa. We understand the room is not spacious. But it doesn’t matter, most important the comfort of bed, the cleanliness of bathroom and other amenities. We like the hotel very much, the breakfast, the hot spring, the 5 special gift for woman and convenient parking. I will definitely back to Super hotel for my future japan trip.

Stayed here for a few nights in a single room during the peak autumn season. Reception spoke simple English but always trying their best to convey their messages across to you with a warm smile. Felt very safe as the main door to the Hotel will be locked after a certain night hour and accessible only with a password given to you. Doors to the hot spring bath and rooms are also via a given password access on a slip of paper. Tip: Just take a photo of your password in case you misplace the slip or can't remember the numbers! There's only one lift but no long wait. For the room, it was very clean, comfy, compact and efficient. Had a very good rest after a whole day of hiking at Daisetsuzan National Park. Free to choose your type of pillow and yutaka at the front desk. Although situated next to a T-junction, there was no traffic noise at all. Free Japanese style breakfast with bread and the menu changes everyday. I was always looking forward to breakfast. It was hearty yet simple, delicious yet healthy! And free flow of coffee from the vending machine. Just remember to clear your own tray when you go. Hotel is located on the less touristy, quieter side of Asahikawa so although a little bit more of a walk from the train station and main shopping/restaurant area, I would still consider it a very good choice. Will stay here again on my next visit!

I've somehow been using Super Hotel franchise here and there. And they all seems to be same but also unique in different ways. And frankly speaking not the best Super Hotel I've been but not bad after all. The only problem is that there are quite many hotels around this area. So you may really want to take a good comparison. But if you are confused, Super Hotel will work just fine. By the way, SUPER HOTEL gives you great sleeping environment. They work hard on the quality and I rarely had bad sleeps at Super Hotel.

The hotel offers the best breakfast of all the places we stayed in Hokkaido. There are breakfast pastries and Japanese style breakfast (rice, Miso soup, soup made with seasonable vegetables, Natto, pickles etc). There's also wide selection of coffee and teas. As well, it's walking distance from Aeon, Heiwa shopping street and JR station. The famous Santouka Ramen restaurant is also within 5 minutes walk. The parking is 500 Yen during summer time, free during winter. The parking area is about 50 metres from the hotel. My only complaint is that the room is a bit too small, although it's very well equipped. The hotel also has a nice onsen. However, the room rate is just 10000 Yen, guess I can't complaint though :)

I want to rate it 3 and a half stars. Pros: 1. Great breakfast 2. Clean 3. Modern and friendly service 4. Coin laundry is great, but not enough units to accommodate all the hotel guests who wanted to do a load or two. 5. Located close to the train station which also runs an airport bus if it matters to you. Cons: 1. Incredibly small rooms. We had problems spreading out our luggage. Once we open our luggage, we had to jump over it to get around the room. 2. Beds are too soft. Husband couldn't stand the size of the rooms, and I had to cancel our Super Hotel booking at Sapporo since it has similar layout to Asahikawa's.

It locates near the station and the shopping area. The breakfast and the hot spring are both free. The room is small but comfortable with clean bed and clean toilet. Most importantly, the service there is beyond description.

Super small but compact room. Okay for 1-2 nights stay but more than that you might feel the squeeze. There was barely room to walk around and definitely if you had a large hard suitcase you may not be able to open it. Still room was clean and had everything you need. My kid had a fun time sleeping on the bunk bed (think mattress supplied) above our double bed. We paid US$90 which includes a simple but adequate breakfast. For just about US$10 more, I think we preferred our stay at Comfort hotel (Kushiro and Hakodate) which is slightly bigger, comes with 2 large single beds (can sleep 1 adult and 1 young child on each bed) and better breakfast. Still we had a good experience at Super Hotel. The young guy manager was very friendly and helpful. The walk to the Kushiro station and restaurant street/shopping was about 10-15min.
