Negatives: Restaurant incredibly warm during breakfast and breakfast placed by the window under the scorching sun. We had a great 2 night stay in the Petra Moon hotel in February. From the reception to the room to the breakfast, it was a very pleasant experience. It is very close to the entrance to Petra and this is very welcome after a long day touring the locality. It's a lovely hotel and keenly priced. Highly recommended.

We stayed one night at the Petra Moon hotel. The staff was wonderful, as was the room. The buffet dinner was also superb. MANY options - all very tasty and well prepared. We're actually thinking of going back to Petra just to spend more time there and stay at the Petra Moon hotel.
